Audiology & Hearing Aids

What Is Audiology & When Should You Seek Treatment?

Audiology is the field of medicine focused on diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders. Hearing loss often develops gradually and can easily go unnoticed until it begins to interfere with conversations, relationships, or daily activities.

You may benefit from a hearing evaluation if you:

  • Frequently ask others to repeat themselves
  • Struggle to hear in noisy environments
  • Turn up the volume on the TV or phone
  • Experience ringing in your ears (tinnitus)
  • Notice changes in your hearing or balance

Untreated hearing loss can lead to frustration, social withdrawal, and even cognitive decline. Early diagnosis and personalized care can make a major difference in your overall quality of life.
