Hearing Loss

Hearing loss can affect your ability to communicate, connect, and enjoy life. At SPRING ENT, we offer comprehensive hearing evaluations and personalized solutions—including hearing aids and medical treatments—to improve your hearing and quality of life.

What Is Hearing Loss & When Should You Seek Treatment?

Hearing loss can result from aging, noise exposure, infections, injuries, or underlying medical conditions. It often develops gradually, making it easy to overlook until communication becomes difficult.

Common signs of hearing loss include:

  • Difficulty understanding speech, especially in noisy environments
  • Asking others to repeat themselves
  • Turning up the volume on the TV or phone
  • Trouble hearing on the telephone
  • Feeling like others are mumbling
  • Withdrawing from conversations or social settings

If you’ve noticed any of these signs—or if loved ones are pointing them out—it’s time to schedule a professional hearing evaluation. Untreated hearing loss can lead to social isolation, frustration, and even cognitive decline.
